Les diverses vistes generals de Navarcles al llarg del segle XX il·lustren la gran davallada de la vinya al poble. Aquesta setmana coneixerem a persones de Navarcles i Talamanca i els preguntarem com van viure aquest retrocés.
Les fotografies de Navarcles des de la Creueta parlen per si soles. Igual que la majoria de poblacions del Bages, durant els primers anys del segle XX Navarcles va recuperar bona part de la superfície de vinya que havia perdut durant la crisi de la fil·loxera. En el segon quart de segle, va iniciar-se una davallada sense precedents de l’activitat vitícola, fins a tocar fons a la dècada de 1990.
Aquesta setmana, en les entrevistes a Navarcles, coneixerem a persones que havien viscut i treballat en aquests paratges i indagarem en els motius del retrocés. També anirem a Talamanca, un dels municipis amb més conjunts de tines isolades de la comarca. La majoria van ser abandonades després de la fil·loxera, però han quedat records del seu us en la memòria popular?
